Back at the villa, the inviting private pool is bordered by a smart tiled terrace and lawned garden, while the contemporary interiors are finished to a high specification throughout. The inviting swimming pool is the perfect space to relax and unwind, with an attractive sun terrace furnished with sunbeds and parasols. There is a small lawned garden, while the outdoor dining table and the brick BBQ is set under the covered terrace – ideal for those alfresco meals.
There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, both set on the ground floor with modern en suite shower rooms. Both rooms are stylishly furnished, while the twin bedroom has sliding doors opening out to the pool terrace.
The open plan living area is finished to the same high standard, with a sleek and minimalist design. Large sliding doors open out to the pool area and side of the villa, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the space. The kitchen is well equipped with modern cabinetry and breakfast bar seating.
Villa Matila is accessed via a short access road leading to the gated off-road parking area, shared with 2 neighbouring villas. A ramp or 3 steps lead up to the gated grounds, with a path to the front door.
Situated in the area of Kariotes, Villa Matila is less than 10 minutes’ drive to Lefkada Town. Here you’ll find a host of restaurants and shops lining the narrow streets and harbour. There are also some great bars along the waterfront. Closer to your villa, Kariotes is home to a small collection of restaurants, cafes and mini markets within a 10 minute walk from your villa. The pebble and shingle Kariotes Beach is also just a 10 minute’ stroll away, while Porto Ligia, Nikiana and Agios Ioannis beaches are all within easy driving distance.
